The first meeting of the Center of Digital Epidemiology (CoDE), Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna was held on 17.03.2023 about implementation planning of the project titled ‘Community health care worker-facilitated fertility care in the northern province of Sri Lanka.’  This project aims to improve fertility care from primary health care through community health care workers (Bottom-up approach). Dr S.Raguraman leads this project, Senior Lecture in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with his program co-Leads Dr Balagobi, Senior Lecture in the Department of Surgery, Dr S.Kumaran, Senior Lecture in the Department of Community and Family medicine and Mrs T.Kiruthiga, Independent Gender and Communication Consultant & Lecturer -Media, University of Jaffna, in which they are focusing on female subfertility, male subfertility, implementation science and gender issues respectively. IMHO-USA is funding this project for six months. Initially, this project is going to conduct in the Nallur MOH area.
