Applications are invited from the students of Academic year 2022/2023 (46th batch) for the above Bursary. The criteria for applying this bursary is as follows –
“Applications are called for the above scholarship for four needy medical students annually”
● Candidates must be a medical student at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna and financial need is prerequisite.
● Student who have lost their parents & students in female headed [single parent] households.
● Disability or Chronic sickness of parents or student.
● Income level of the households. The students should submit the following documents with their applications.
Income certificate-
a. Salary particulars/ Pension particulars
b. Letter from Grama Sevaka/ AGA
● The total burden of student’s expenses on the family earning.
Students are requested to submit the application which is available here or at the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, with copy of the Bank account on or before 14th June 2025 to the Office of The Dean, Faculty of Medicine.
