University of Jaffna Medical Students Secure Top Award in Anatomy Video Contest organized by the Anatomical Society of Sri Lanka

A team of students from the 45th Batch, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, participated in the Anatomy Video Competition organized by the Anatomical Society of Sri Lanka.

They produced an educational clinical anatomy video on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, presented through an engaging role-play format designed to simplify and contextualize applied anatomical concepts for clinical relevance.

The submission was supervised by Dr. Sivanandhini Udhayakumar, Senior Lecturer, Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna and clinically reviewed by Dr. Vishnukanth, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, who provided expert guidance to ensure accuracy.

The team’s outstanding work was recognized at the competition, where they secured Joint First Place among all participating institutions.
