A team of students from the 45th Batch of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna participated in the Anatomy Video Competition organized by the Anatomical Society of Sri Lanka. The team produced an educational clinical anatomy explanation video on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, presented through an engaging role-play format, with the objective of simplifying applied anatomical concepts and enhancing their clinical relevance.
The submission was academically supervised by Dr. Sivanandhini Udhayakumar, Senior Lecturer, Department of Anatomy, and clinically reviewed by Dr. Vishnukanth, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, whose expert guidance ensured anatomical accuracy and clinical applicability.
In recognition of their outstanding work, the team was awarded Joint First Place among all participating institutions.

The Faculty Board meeting held on 14.01.2026 formally acknowledged this achievement, awarded the winning certificates to the students, and extended congratulations to both the students and the staff members for their exemplary academic and professional guidance.
