Oxidative stress is the major cause of several diseases, including cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, and cancer. In particular, the early introduction of oxidants to neonates, especially preterm and low birth weight neonates, would cause harmful effects on their later life. My research focus on

    1. Total parenteral nutrition and in vivo oxidative effects,
    2. Assessing oxidative stress using cell culture models,
    3. Describing how nutrients play a significant role in metabolic derangements, and
    4. Help the industries to optimize commercially available intravenous or enteral nutrient admixtures.
