“Medinourish”: Empowering Souls of Medical Students – An Activity to Improve Nutrition among Jaffna Medical Students

The Sri Lankan food-based dietary guidelines were used to compute nutritional requirements for sedentary individuals. Subsequently the group divided the tasks among themselves: sourcing seasonal seafood and vegetables from Jaffna and developing meal plans according to the availability of foods. The finalized meal plans were used to create a menu card for presentation to the faculty canteen.
