Prof. Thavam Thambipillai, President of International College of Surgeons, US Chapter, Professor of Surgery at the Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota and the Vice President of IMHO USA graced the University of Jaffna with his presence on 17th November 2023.
During his visit, he had the opportunity to engage with the project staff, expressing his elation at the remarkable progress made thus far.
As a gesture of gratitude and recognition for their hard work, Prof. Thavam went above and beyond, presenting thoughtful gifts to all the Community Health Workers involved in the fertility care program. This act not only acknowledged their efforts but also served as a motivating force for the individuals who play a pivotal role in the success of the initiative.
