The Centre for Digital Epidemiology (CoDE) at the Faculty of Medicine organized a two-day workshop titled “Realising Your Potential in the Early Stages, Including Entrepreneurship and Achieving Success,” aiming to assist young talents in exploring potential careers and entrepreneurship. Held on January 4th and 5th, 2024, at the University of Jaffna’s Faculty of Medicine Conference Hall, the event attracted a diverse crowd eager to learn. The first day’s workshop catered to university students and staff, while the following day’s workshop targeted school students.

A highlight of the event was the speech by Dr. Sabesan Sithamparanathan, Founder and President of PervaSID. Dr. Sithamparanathan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and is a fellow at Girton College, University of Cambridge. His accolades include being honored with the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Innovation and being named one of Business Elite’s 40 under 40 in 2023.

The workshop aimed to inspire attendees to begin their careers and provided practical tips for success. Dr. Sithamparanathan shared valuable lessons on entrepreneurship and innovation, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
