In the dynamic landscape of a Medical Faculty, the strategic placement of a signboard is instrumental in fostering effective communication. Placing a signboard at the Faculty enhances visibility, provides crucial information, and contributes to the overall functionality of the Faculty. From guiding newcomers to conveying important announcements, the well- thought-out positioning of a signboard serves as a silent yet powerful tool that navigates the faculty’s visitors.

A well-placed signboard can greatly affect the everyday functioning and experience at the Faculty. As a step towards enhancing student welfare, the Students’ Wellbeing Centre has placed some signboards in the Faculty premises with the support of the Alumni, Faculty of Medicine. This initiative is focused on upholding the overall maintenance of the premises and enhancing the safety of medical students.

Signboards with messages such as “Caution: Wet Floor,” “Cleaning in Progress,” and “No Parking” have been installed to convey important information to ensure the safety and well- being of Medical Students within the Faculty premises.

These signs serve to mitigate potential hazards by notifying individuals of on-going maintenance activities or wet floors, thereby decreasing the risk of slips, trips and falls. This contributes to fostering a safer environment for faculty, students, staff, and visitors.

Clear signage effectively communicates important information. A “No Parking” sign clearly indicates areas where parking is prohibited, thereby helping to prevent congestion and maintain orderly parking arrangements within the faculty premises.
