A revolutionary cooperation has formed to shed light on the topic of dyslexia, bringing together powerful brains from the University of Jaffna’s Faculty of Medicine, Jaffna Teaching Hospital, and Vellore Institute of Technology in Chennai.

On November 13, 2023, a monumental work unfolded at the Jaffna Medical Faculty under the leadership of Maya Rathnasabapathy, Associate Professor of Psychology at Vellore Institute of Technology, and Dr. S. Kumaran, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at the University of Jaffna.

This innovative study goes beyond just determining the prevalence and effect of dyslexia. It has been designed to provide stakeholders and communities with essential tools and information for enhancing support for persons with dyslexia.
