To undertake, promote and provide facilities for basic and applied research studies in epidemiology by efficient networking and collaboration with the national and international organizations
To collectively synthesize innovative ideas in multi-disciplinary studies and coordinate various researches of the faculty
To promote research culture among students and academics
To advance the research capacity building of undergraduate and postgraduate students (M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D)
To provide opportunities for postdoctoral and residency training in epidemiology
To involve in community engagement and outreach programs in epidemiology.
To engage in collaborative research programs with national and international institutions.
